DONATIONS and SUPPORT

Do you want to support us?
Here are our fundraisers and needs

Hello everybody!

My name is Benedetta, I am 25 years old and I am a social worker. Until the end of December, I am in the middle of the countryside in Uganda. I came here to work with the organization " Global Network For Uganda Volunteers Foundation" .

The organization founded in 2013, later registered as an NGO in 2018, was established to provide sustainable volunteer services to Uganda's most rural and marginalized communities, with a focus on women and children.

Initially, GNUVF focused its operations in the Wakiso district supporting women and seeking to increase agricultural production. It now operates in all regions of Uganda focusing on the socio-economic empowerment of women and the education of children.

Okay, I'm Alice, but here we're not talking about me, one of the many volunteers around the world, but about the women of Sisa: Lidia, Chantal, Giustina, Betty, Becca and many others (some are precisely those in the photo) 12 women for now, but we hope to increase, which thanks to the GNUFV program for the independence of women and the various projects it manages, gives them the opportunity to create a future for themselves by working and studying and that's why we are here! Because sewing lessons and all the good will (and elbow grease) are not enough, we need more than the 2 sewing machines we have, we need more machines and more fabric, so I turn to you.

Drinking water and electricity for the children

Our association has managed to build two schools, in an isolated area between Entebbe and Kampala, thus making it possible for tens of children to become educated every year, but being a non-governmental and non-profit association we need help to bring drinking water, electricity, maps and books to this school.

Greetings. We need to raise funds to build this tailoring workshop to give the women in our project the opportunity to work. We already have a project, as you can see from the photo, we have the various estimates and we have found the builders
